I’m a day behind so I’ll have to make two posts today – but yesterday was non-stop from start to finish. I wake up for work around 6am, and yesterday I was out the door early because I decided to take Zoey to doggy daycare. so I dropped her off around 7:30am and then headed to work. work is a legit 8-5 gig, but yesterday was pretty nice! my coworker took me and the newer new guy to lunch, which was much appreciated. after work I had to go pick up Zoey, head back to the apartment, feed her and walk her, and then change and head to my friend’s apartment. from there, we ubered downtown because the football team at the university I work for was competing for the conference championship. we met her boyfriend and my friend down there and watched the game, which didn’t end until after 10pm. but good news – my school won! back to back conference champs! after the game we got some food, then I headed back to my apartment, took Zoey on a final walk, and finally went to bed post-midnight. long day and late night by my standards.

those types of marathon days are not really my usual – I enjoy being home and in bed before 11pm, but they’re nice to have every once in awhile. I’m glad I went to the game, I’m glad I got to spend the evening with my friends, and I’m glad Zoey let me sleep in this morning.
